Meet Our Team of Leaders

Janice is now retired but she still serves as the Chair on the company board. Janice has been instrumental in the companies success for decades.
Janice Jones, Founder

As a co-leader over all the divisions of L&R Industries, Danny brings a deep knowledge of all the company’s capabilities to the table. He has an incredible aptitude for fixing things big and small. Danny oversees and is the leading expert for the Millwright division, where customers rely on his uncanny ability to arrive on site, quickly assess a problem and immediately go about getting a customer’s operation back up and running. Working with the Crane division’s Rigging Services capabilities, he helps companies plan, move and place heavy industrial machinery and equipment to precise specifications. He’s also a key part of L&R’s Material Handling Systems division.

Danny Jones, Principal

Doug shares in the leadership role managing the overall operations for all the divisions at L&R, and he’s a great relationship builder and developer of Strategic Partnerships. His expertise and connections brought in the original work that ultimately resulted in the company’s Steel Reel division, which has become the nation’s leading supplier of Steel Reels used for flexible conduit, hose and tube.

Doug Jones, Principal

In addition to his executive oversight and leadership role overseeing operations for L&R’s family of divisions, Darren is the master of L&R Industries’ Crane Services division. His decades of knowledge and experience in Crane operations and Safety management, plus his certifications as an NCCCO Crane Operator Trainer are a vital part of the company’s Millwright, Material Handling Systems and Metal Fabrication divisions.

Darren Jones, Principal

As L&R Industries continued with its skyrocket growth, they simply had to bring on someone with a strong background in financial management. Terry was an obvious choice, and he’s been an outstanding member of the team since his arrival, guiding leadership on critical aspects of financial management and helping keep and grow L&R’s outstanding fiscal strength. Terry also serves as an advisor to the company board of directors, keeping his finger on the pulse of all things financial at L&R. (FYI, no relation to the founder family)

Terry Jones, Chief Financial Officer

Methodical, precise, creative and incredibly knowledgeable are just some of the words to describe Ryan and the important role he plays for L&R. Officially the Director of the Metal Fabrication division, in addition to overseeing that operation, he’s also a vital member of the Material Handling Systems division, using his design and development talents to help companies plan, fabricate, procure and install large and impressive processing systems such as Feed Mills, Industrial Ducting and Dust Collection systems. Ryan started with L&R back in the mid-90’s and worked his way through all areas of the company, learning, growing and advancing his skills, and he has a great way with customers, all of which make him an important asset to the company.

Ryan Allen, Director of Fabrication

L&R industries found Kurt at just the right time, and his extensive background and skillsets helped the company start up the Mechanical Steel Tubing division, an impressive operation that continues to grow at an amazing pace under his direction. Having spent decades as an entrepreneur and company owner, a president, board of directors member, share holder and other leadership roles in manufacturing, Kurt knows how to produce quality products and make things happen efficiently, and he oversees all aspects of production at the Tube Mill. Kurt is also a certified Advanced Manufacturing Specialist.

Kurt Windsor, Director, Mechanical Steel Tube Division

Trent has worked hard to grow into the role as Director of the Steel Reels division. He spent over 5 years in the Metal Fabrication shop learning the ropes, learning skills and performing a variety of tasks, working his way up as he went. At the Steel Reel plant, he learned how to run equipment and spent over a year running robotic welders building staves and reels. He spent another 5 years learning the business aspects of running a manufacturing shop before becoming Director. Working with Kurt Windsor, Trent also helped set up and install the first Tube Mill at the Mechanical Steel Tube shop. A natural born leader with a “let’s put on the gloves and get to work” attitude, Trent’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and work with his team to maximize output in a very fast paced production process. As Director he oversees customer relationships, manages loading and shipping to maximize customer freight dollars and coordinates logistics and production scheduling.

L&R’s Millwright customers know when Dustin arrives on site, he’ll quickly access the situation, identify the problems and carry the project efficiently from start to finish. He learned early on how important it is to get customers up and running as fast as possible, and he understands the importance of ongoing preventive maintenance to minimize down time. Dustin is also a certified crane operator and an important part of the Crane Division.

Dennis came on-board with L&R in April 2019. He brings great energy as a systems developer with a deep understanding of user needs in the company and has been instrumental in process improvements. Most of his work is behind-the-scenes, however his impact on the employees and the business is substantial. Being the Director of IT services, he must juggle a lot of diverse projects at once while keeping the network safe and secure. We are glad to have him on our team!

DENNIS PERKINS, DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

As a long-time supervisor and production manager in manufacturing, Mike’s background and knowledge of supply chain demands made him an ideal person to modernize and direct L&R’s purchasing functions. Mike set up and implemented proprietary software with advanced maintenance and procurement management capabilities, which is vital to helping L&R maintain its extensive Parts & Components inventory. Experience has also taught him how to locate tough-to-find replacement parts for customers who need to get equipment back up and running fast.
