L&R Industries: A Family of Industry.
It all started in 1969 when founder Lin Jones and his wife Janice opened a small welding and Metal Fabrication shop in Mountain Grove, Missouri. Lin’s honest hard work earned him a reputation for coming through when people needed him. His performance was his signature. [27] And so, as the company grew, Lin and Janice expected every member of the team to do what it takes to do a great job for customers. [25] They knew that in the end, its people who make it happen, and that without great people on the team, the company would be nothing. That simple philosophy has driven L&R Industries’ amazing growth and success for over half a century.
Today, that little shop has become a collection of major company divisions, with an incredible family of highly skilled coworkers who demonstrate that they are the best in the business. Each of our divisions plays an integral role in making it happen for our customers. Each conceived to strengthen the capabilities of the others and everyone focused on bringing customers top-quality products and services. Every day, we tell each of our people to take pride in their work and put value in what they do, because we know that when we Value Our Performance!, our customers will, too.
New Divisions Added
In the early years, the skills, grit and determination of Lin Jones and his three sons meant things quickly evolved. There was a demand to fill the local need for Feed Mill design, construction, repair and maintenance. Thus L&R’s Material Processing Systems and Millwright Services Divisions were born. These Divisions with the workers' experience, expertise and capabilities remain in high demand today.
Continued growth and the need to provide complete, turnkey services gave rise to L&R’s Crane Services Division. It was an addition driven by the limited availability of powerful cranes needed to complete construction jobs quickly and efficiently. Today, this division provides highly skilled, certified crane operators and equipment for a variety of industrial construction projects.

In the late 1990’s, a mutual business connection opened the door for another opportunity, and L&R started work with a company that eventually became part of a major international supplier of HDPE conduit and telecom products. L&R’s efficiency, attention to quality and fast turnaround led that client to form a Strategic Partnership with us, making us a critical part of their supply chain. This resulted in the genesis of our Steel Reels Division, which is now the premier supplier of collapsible steel reels domestically and is fast becoming a recognized player internationally.
Expanding into Steel Tubing
Always striving for continuous improvement, we quickly realized it was a challenge to keep enough steel tubing flowing into the reel shop to meet our demanding production schedules, the problem was solved by building our own Mechanical Steel Tubing Division to produce enough of the high quality steel tubing needed at the Steel Reels Division. Yet again, another member of the L&R Industries family of Divisions was born to support the needs of its sister divisions. Recognized for superior products, L&R’s Mechanical Steel Tubing Division now also serves the retail commodity market and continues to grow at an amazing pace.
L&R Industries next stage of growth occurred in late 2019 with the addition of the company’s Electrical Division. L&R acquired a respected, long-time service partner to form the basis of the Electrical Division, immediately providing in-house expertise skills for a variety of L&R projects. This division’s rapid growth also brings much-needed industrial and electrical services to the extended region.
Only a month later, in December of 2019, L&R completed the acquisition of The Beehler Corporation, and added the Beehler-Stamping Division to the L&R family. For well over 100 years, Beehler has been a premier manufacturer and supplier of metal stampings, assemblies, engineered hinges, hardware and fabricated metal parts. This division’s extensive capabilities add yet another critical layer to the L&R Industries list of capabilities, and it’s on a path of tremendous growth as we put the L&R stamp on its operations.

We’ve gotten where we are today through good old-fashioned honesty and hard work, and the fierce dedication of our people, the most important members of the L&R Family.
